Titici

Why TITICI?

The Frame

TITICI frames are all handmade with the best carbon fibres available on the market and use custom geometry to make bike functionality perfect.

Plate absorbing technology

With greater vertical give than a traditional tube, plate absorbing technology very effectively absorbs the impact of uneven ground, offering the rider comfort and unprecedented safety. PAT provides this huge advantage without losing responsiveness and productivity thanks to high levels of lateral and torsional rigidity of the frame.

The progressive wrapping method

The TITICI method of progressive wrapping is a meticulous process that allows each customer to have a bike that’s made to measure for his or her body and cycling style, with the highest standard of stiffness, responsiveness and durability.

Tap connection technology

TITICI employs technology that uses radio frequencies to enable the bicycle to communicate with modern computer systems and access a range of innovative digital services dedicated to the cyclist.

What’s the process?

Each made-to-measure bicycle starts with a conversation.

  • What will the bike be used for?
  • What do you want the bike to look like?
  • What components will be fitted?
  • What budget are you working to?

This process can take days, weeks, and sometimes months and should not be rushed. It’s worth getting the details right from the start.

Talk to one of our experts

When you are ready to go ahead, we will bring you in for a pre-design fitting using the Retül motion capture system and adjustable Müve bike. During this process, our head fitter will assess your current riding position and discuss and test the improvements that could be made.

This is an interactive process whereby we test a number of different positions before settling on the final fit position. Your feedback is critical at this stage as it helps to narrow down the fit window.

Once the final position is identified, we take key measurements of both you (height, shoulder width, etc) and the adjustable bike.

Retul Muve Bike

Once the pre-design fitting is completed, you can decide if stock geometry or a custom build frame will be best. In order to complete the frame drawing, we will require a final decision on the make and model of certain components as they will impact the frame design:

  • saddle
  • seatpost
  • handlebar
  • stem

You are welcome to be as involved in this part of the process as you require. If you have specific geometry requirement this can be incorporated to alter either the look or handling of your frame. Geometry can be fine tuned to offer different handling characteristics as required.

During this time we will discuss paint and graphic design using TITICI’s configurator.

Once your frame drawing has been approved and deposit paid, we will schedule it into production in the TITICI manufacturing lab in Asola, Italy. They will then provide us with an initial delivery lead time. Typical lead times are around 8 weeks (except during the August and Christmas holiday periods).

At the time your order is taken, you will need to decide on your finish and the groupset to be fitted.

Once we receive approval of the frame picture, TITICI will ship the frame and we will schedule it in our workshop for the final build. Also at this time, we will schedule the final fitting and delivery date.

Collection day has finally come! When you arrive we will show you the bike completely built ready for inspection and admiration.

We will fit you one last time, now on your bike, ensuring the build matches the frame drawing. Then we will measure your bike using the Retül system for your and our records.
