Group Rides & Runs
Kit Demos

We lead runs for anyone wishing to run with a friendly sociable group along the river or around Richmond Park.

Run Schedule:

We have regular rides from the store and welcome all ability riders.

Ride Schedule:

*** Tour de France – Bastille Day Store Ride  ***

On Friday 14th July, Velosport & X-Bionic are going to lead a 100km ride into the Surrey Hills. This is taking place on the 13th stage of the Tour de France which sees a 100km mountain stage from Saint-Girons to Foix.

We will be meeting at the store from 8am and people wishing to try out X-Bionic cycling gear can get kitted out. The ride will leave at 8.30am. We’ll aim for a steady pace, go out into the Surrey Hills and take in the infamous Box Hill climb. We’ll stop for a coffee at the top of Box Hill before returning back to the store, where we will have cheese, wine and cold beer waiting for us and the Tour of France playing for all those who would like to stay and watch.

Everyone welcome! Sign up here

We offer customers the chance to test out X-Bionic bike and run gear. We organise specific group experience days for both riders and runners, giving them the opportunity to try out X-Bionic clothing whilst enjoying a ride or run out with us around the local area.

If you prefer to try out the kit in your time, we make our test clothing available and just require a refundable deposit.

Cycle with our Club

Velosport also has a Cycling Club Velosport CC. We welcome anyone try us out for 2 rides before joining, otherwise rides are exclusive to club members for insurance reasons.

Weekly rides will be led for a variety of skill levels, from the relative novice to seasoned campaigners.

The club exists for all levels of riders and is keen to promote new cyclist becoming involved with the club – enthusiasm is the most important factor so don’t worry about your ability, the club is here to help you get better. We have a “Newbie” ride on the first Sunday of every month to get people introduced to the club that are not certain of their speed or ability to keep up.

Typical Sunday rides last for 3-4 hours and cover anywhere from 40 – 75 miles. The pace will vary from 14 -18mph, depending on the route and group chosen. Ultimately these rides are social with no rider left behind! Join us and meet new people, ride with friends, and enjoy a piece of cake on route.

If you’re interested in racing then Velosport CC is still a great club to join. The club has several members racing in weekly criterium circuits around London and the odd road racing.
