Meet the team

Our Retul-certified fitters, Steve and Dave will work with you to optimise both your performance and comfort on your bike. In addition to a thorough evaluation of physical factors (e.g. size, flexibility and strength) they will take into consideration your personal cycling habits and goals to provide you with recommendations.  At Velosport, a bike fit is a very collaborative process. Your feedback is important – not just the numbers on the screen. Most clients are genuinely surprised at the difference even a small adjustment can make.

More
Steve got into cycling watching Lance Armstrong achieve seven consecutive Tour de France wins.

His love for the sport really blossomed when in 2007 he joined the local club Kingston Wheelers. It was on one of these community rides that a good mate gave him the idea of opening up a bike shop of his own.

In 2011, dream become a reality for Steve and his family with the creation of Velosport in Putney. The rest is history!

Steve loves his friends, beer and his wife’s homemade cake.
